Job DescriptionBenefits: • 401(k), • Flexible schedule Los Angeles Skills Academy (LASA) Antelope Valley, CA (Lancaster/Palmdale) $20$22 per hour Part-Time (2025 hours/week, flexible schedule) About Us Los Angeles Skills Academy (LASA) is a state-approved healthcare training provider dedicated to preparing students for careers as Certified Nurse Assistants (CNAs). We partner with schools, workforce programs, and healthcare facilities to create real career pathways for our students. We are looking for a reliable, organized, and proactive Program Coordinator to support our on-site operations in Antelope Valley. Position Overview The Program Coordinator serves as LASAs on-site point of coordination, ensuring smooth communication between students, instructors, and partner organizations. This role is critical to maintaining a structured, professional, and supportive learning environment for our students. What Youll Do On-Site Program Coordination • Represent LASA on-site during orientations, class starts, and key program activities, • Ensure classrooms, schedules, and materials are organized and ready Student Support • Act as a primary point of contact for students, • Assist with onboarding (orientation check-in, reminders, documentation), • Support students with scheduling, attendance, and general program questions Instructor Support • Coordinate with instructors on schedules, attendance, and classroom needs, • Ensure proper documentation and communication between instructors and the LASA team Partner Communication • Maintain a professional presence with partner staff (AV Adult Education, etc.), • Support alignment between LASA and partner expectations Administrative & Operational Support • Track attendance, documentation, and compliance-related items, • Provide real-time updates to the LASA office team (Slack, email, phone), • Assist with scheduling adjustments and coordination of make-up sessions What Were Looking For • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, • Highly organized and detail-oriented, • Reliable and able to follow through on tasks independently, • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, in-person environment, • Basic computer skills (email, Google Docs/Sheets, etc.), • Problem-solving mindset and ability to adapt Preferred (not required): • Be part of a mission-driven organization helping students enter the healthcare field, • Flexible part-time schedule, • Opportunity to grow with a fast-growing training program, • Work closely with a supportive and collaborative team How to Apply Submit your application through Indeed or CareerPlug.
