Quality control inspector/ Operator Job Position Overview: Performs a variety Quality Control related tasks. Verifies components are produced to print and relate the results to appropriate personal. Prepares various paperwork. Inspect various inspection gages issued to production. Quality control inspector/ Operator Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: • Perform in-progress inspection for all machined components., • Review operator inspection reports and traveler information., • Submit reports to shift supervisor and communicate the results to machine operators., • Perform First Article Inspection for new parts (set ups), • Follows established departmental policies, procedures, and objectives, continuous quality improvement objectives, and safety, environmental, control standards., • Detail knowledge of inspection techniques, tools and methodology, • Working knowledge of GD &T, • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints, • Must possess the ability to use a wide variety of measuring devices to perform dimensional inspection of components produced., • Must be dependable and possess a willingness to learn new techniques., • Medical and Aerospace manufacturing experience with emphasis on FAIR, • Follow the quality standards of ISO-13485 Minimum Job Requirements & Education Associates or BS degree(s) from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for a public/private accountant looking to take on a leadership role in a growing, process-driven environment. Key Responsibilities: • Oversee the month-end and year-end close process, including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting., • Drive process automation and system improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy., • Manage 1-2 direct reports, providing leadership, mentorship, and technical guidance., • Perform hands-on accounting tasks, including cash reconciliations, accruals, and variance analysis., • Implement and refine internal controls to ensure compliance and operational efficiency., • Work cross-functionally with operations and finance teams to optimize financial processes., • 3-8 years of progressive accounting experience., • CPA preferred., • Public accounting experience required—must be at least a Senior Associate (2nd-year preferred) or Manager level before transitioning to private industry., • Public/private mix preferred, especially with manufacturing/tangible goods industry exposure., • Experience with similar-sized companies (~$300M revenue) is a plus., • NetSuite experience preferred or familiarity with ERP systems., • Strong focus on automation, change management, and process improvement., • Ability to balance leadership responsibilities while being hands-on with technical accounting tasks.
