Responsibilities: - Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures - Take patient medical histories and vital signs - Prepare examination rooms and sterilize medical instruments - Administer medications and vaccines as directed by healthcare providers - Perform basic laboratory tests and collect specimens for testing - Provide patient education and instructions for at-home care - Schedule patient appointments and manage medical records Skills: - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask - Proficient in medical terminology and documentation - Knowledge of electronic health record systems - Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and privacy - Familiarity with medical billing and coding processes
