About the Role: The Manager of Clinical Operations Nursing is a frontline nursing leader responsible for overseeing the daily clinical operations, staffing execution, and performance management of nursing services. This role translates nursing strategy into reliable, high-quality daily practice—ensuring safe staffing, efficient patient flow, strong clinical standards, and a culture of accountability. Reporting to Nursing Leadership, the Nurse Manager provides hands-on operational leadership on the clinical floors and partners closely with Nursing Supervisors to support staff performance, workflow efficiency, training, documentation quality, and issue resolution. While the Director of Nursing sets strategic direction, this role ensures operational follow-through and real-time problem-solving. Key Responsibilities: As a Manager of Clinical Operations Nursing, your responsibilities will include: Clinical Operations & Staffing • Provide daily oversight of nursing services to ensure safe staffing, smooth patient flow, and adherence to clinical workflows, • Collaborate with Nursing Supervisors on scheduling execution, addressing call-outs and coverage gaps in real time, • Directly supervise designated nursing staff and oversee Nursing Supervisors’ management of clinical teams, • Complete 90-day evaluations for new staff and ensure timely completion of ongoing performance reviews, • Address performance concerns promptly in partnership with HR and Nursing Leadership, • Coordinate onboarding, training, and competency validation for LPNs, MAs, and other nursing staff, • Ensure annual competencies, chart reviews, and peer reviews are completed accurately and on schedule, • Partner with Quality Management to implement and monitor quality improvement initiatives, • Serve as escalation point for patient concerns related to nursing services, • Provide coaching on clinical standards, documentation quality, and patient-centered care, • Participate in operational initiatives related to access, staffing, and care delivery, • Prepare reports related to nursing operations and quality metrics, • Provide interdepartmental support during Administrator-on-Duty rotations, • Serve as Site Infection Control Lead and coordinate annual Flu Clinics and employee vaccinations Work Schedule: This is a full-time.
