Reporting to the Payroll Manager, the Payroll Specialist will be responsible for execution of payroll for all Center staff. This position works closely with HR, Fiscal, and department leadership to ensure accurate, compliant, and strategic payroll administration. Operating out of Richmond County Criminal Court along with community-based offices, SIJC is a team of social service providers, court-based resource coordinators, mental health practitioners, compliance specialists, and others who seek to improve the quality of justice. Supervised Release offers an alternative to jail by providing pretrial supervision, case management, and voluntary social services to people charged with misdemeanor and felony offenses, and in doing so, uses an arrest as a window of opportunity to change the direction of a participant’s life, avoiding the harmful effects of incarceration. Program participants are monitored to ensure their appearance at court dates and mandatory programming, and receive referrals to services like job training, drug treatment, and mental health counseling. SIJC seeks a Case Management Coordinator for the borough’s Supervised Release Program (SRP). Reporting to the SRP Director of Practice, the Case Management Coordinator is responsible for employing quality assurance measures to ensure the program is adhering to the program model and employing best practices aligned with organizational values, including a commitment to Operational Excellence. The Case Management Coordinator will provide direct supervision to Supervising Case Managers and group supervision to Case Managers and Senior Case Managers. Additionally, they will ensure that case management staff regularly engage in program-specific training and receive consistent and appropriate task supervision. The Case Management Coordinator will facilitate effective communication between this team and across all other SRP teams to ensure that the program builds on successes and proactively addresses challenges. Job Description The FFT Therapist provides FFT (Functional Family Therapy) virtually, to a maximum of 10 voluntarily participating families at a time who reside in NYC. The target population of young adults (16-25 years old), who are referred to us after an arrest. This is a pilot program to offer FFT to families and young people who might otherwise find themselves incarcerated without this alternative. FFT is an evidence-based model which is home-based, intensive, family therapy. The FFT Therapist participates in all FFT training and consultation activities, and program reviews. In addition to providing Family Therapy, the FFT Therapist will collaborate with other service providers, including but not limited to the Mayor’s Office of Criminal Justice (MOCJ) and New York City Criminal Justice Agency (CJA). The FFT Therapist is required to complete all FFT documentation requirements, including meeting appropriate therapeutic and engagement requirements and assessing for family safety and risk. Job Description Senior Functional Family Therapist About the Role The FFT Therapist provides FFT (Functional Family Therapy) virtually, to a maximum of 10 voluntarily participating families at a time who reside in NYC. The target population of young adults (16-25 years old), who are referred to us after an arrest. This is a pilot program to offer FFT to families and young people who might otherwise find themselves incarcerated without this alternative. FFT is an evidence-based model which is home-based, intensive, family therapy. The FFT Therapist participates in all FFT training and consultation activities, and program reviews. In addition to providing Family Therapy, the FFT Therapist will collaborate with other service providers, including but not limited to the Mayor’s Office of Criminal Justice (MOCJ) and New York City Criminal Justice Agency (CJA). The FFT Therapist is required to complete all FFT documentation requirements, including meeting appropriate therapeutic and engagement requirements and assessing for family safety and risk. What You’ll Do • Provide virtual and/or home-based clinical treatment with adherence to the Functional Family Therapy (FFT) model., • Participate in engagement efforts for referred families., • Conduct assessment including review of referral information, identifying and engaging key participants, identifying systemic strengths and weaknesses, and developing an analysis of the fit problem behaviors within the ecological context., • Engage youth, primary caregiver, and other key participants in active change-oriented treatment by identifying and overcoming barriers to engagement., • Implement a problem conceptualization, treatment planning, intervention implementation, outcome review and strategy revision procedure using the FFT model’s Analytic Process., • Maintain clear and concise documentation of treatment efforts that promote peer and supervisory review and feedback, and that demonstrate compliance with FFT model Analytic Process. Complete all progress notes, opening and closing of cases and any other reporting/case management requirements in a timely and accurate fashion. When required, submit progress reports to the court or other stakeholders., • Collaborate with all relevant systems and key participants within each system to ensure their buy-in and cooperation throughout treatment. This could include regular meetings and reports to stakeholders., • Participate in all agencies and FFT model program training, individual supervision and group consultation activities. The Neighborhood Safety Council (NSC) builds on BCJC’s decade of community-driven work, serving as a platform for residents, government partners, and community stakeholders to co-design and implement initiatives that improve safety, foster economic opportunity, and reduce reliance on the justice system. The Engagement Coordinator will play a key role in building and sustaining community participation in the NSC, with a focus on recruiting, developing and managing a Youth Leadership Council (YLC) that amplifies the voices of young people in shaping community safety strategies and executing public design projects. Reporting directly to the Program Manager, the Engagement Coordinator will design youth-focused leadership opportunities, facilitate skill-building workshops, and ensure that youth perspectives are integrated into the NSC’s priorities and decision-making processes.
