Duties • Lead design of building HVAC systems and district energy systems, • Field investigations to document existing conditions, • Selection and calculations for design purposes, • Work with Jr Engineers to develop and review project drawings and documentation, • Interact directly with clients by completing analysis of design options, cost benefit comparisons, and communicating results to assist in decision making process., • 8-10 years of relevant experience, • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering is preferred, • Well-rounded experience in HVAC and hydronic system design, • Preferred: experience designing geothermal or district energy systems, • Experience with Revit or AutoCAD, • New York State Professional Engineer’s license is a plus, • Excellent verbal and written communication skills Salary Range: $80,000 - $120,000 per year The specific salary offered may be influenced by a variety of factors including but not limited to the candidate's relevant experience, education, and work location.
