The Crossings Program Coordinator is responsible for overseeing and coordinating all services for residents and families within the Crossings neighborhood. This position promotes the mission and philosophy of assisted living by leading, supporting, and empowering staff to deliver person-centered care and meaningful engagement. The Crossings Program Coordinator develops and implements recreational, social, and therapeutic programs that enhance residents' quality of life, ensures proper documentation and communication, and supports staff supervision and family relations. Benefits when choosing a career with Distinctive: • Medical, Dental and Vision benefits, • Paid Time Off, • 401k Retirement Plan & Life Insurance, • Prepare and post monthly activity calendars and facilitate daily engagement opportunities., • Coordinate and drive residents to outings and special events as needed., • Participate in hiring, onboarding, scheduling, and evaluating staff performance., • Serve in the Manager-on-Duty rotation and provide coverage as needed., • Educate staff on mental health topics and assist in conducting in-service training., • Facilitate support groups and assist with family inquiries and concerns., • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, safety programs, and management meetings., • High School Diploma or equivalent required., • Associate or Bachelor's degree in Health Sciences, Social Services, Geriatrics, Communications or a field related to the position is preferred., • Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel preferred., • Strong written and verbal communication skills, strong interpersonal skills, and positive community relations skills. Excellent organizational skills, detail oriented. Pleasant, professional, and personable., • Ability to evaluate workers' performances, strong working knowledge of employment laws and company regulations., • Self-motivated and can work independently and make decisions., • Able to work well under pressure, resolve conflicts, prioritize tasks, and follow through with ideas., • Complimentary professional experience in recreation or occupational therapy, art or music therapy, hospitality management, teaching, coaching, health & wellness or related fields are welcome.
