Job Description Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse (RN) Program Options: Adult Day & Adult Residential Location: Nassau and Suffolk County Employment Type: Full-Time Shift: Depending on Residential & Day Program needs. Your Role: As an RN, you’ll take a leadership role in providing high-quality medical care and ensuring the overall health and safety of those we serve. You’ll collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams to deliver individualized care and support. Key Responsibilities: · Oversee and deliver nursing care, including medication management and administration. · Conduct comprehensive health assessments and develop individualized care plans. · Supervise and provide guidance to LPNs and direct support staff. · Respond to medical emergencies and ensure proper follow-up care. · Collaborate with families, caregivers, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure holistic care. · Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with all health regulations. Requirements/Qualifications: · Education: Completion of an accredited RN program (required); Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (preferred). · Licensure: Active RN license in the State of New York (required). · Experience: Previous experience with individuals with developmental disabilities or in a residential setting (preferred). Skills: · Leadership and team collaboration abilities. · Excellent communication and decision-making skills. · Ability to handle medical situations with confidence and professionalism. · Additional Requirement: Must be comfortable commuting to various program locations as needed; mileage reimbursement is provided.
