Job Details Title: Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner Supervisor Location: Upper West Side, NYC (West 74th Street Women’s Shelter) Type: Full-time, Permanent, Direct Hire Schedule: Monday–Friday, Day Shift Salary: Up to $150K (flexible for exceptional candidates) Setting: 146-bed women’s shelter Team Leadership: Supervise a team of ~10 psychiatric staff Clinical Scope: Trauma-informed psychiatric care for women experiencing homelessness Responsibilities: Oversee daily psychiatric nursing operations Provide clinical supervision, mentorship, and guidance Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams on care planning Lead staff meetings and continuing education initiatives Support recruitment, onboarding, and retention of psych staff Monitor care quality and implement improvements Develop and refine departmental policies and procedures Address patient concerns and elevate satisfaction Stay current on psychiatric best practices and integrate into care Qualifications: Master’s in Nursing with psychiatric specialty Active, unrestricted NP license 2+ years of experience as a psychiatric NP Prior supervisory or managerial experience preferred Strong clinical, communication, and leadership skills Ability to thrive in high-acuity, trauma-informed environments Interested in hearing more?
