The design-build project includes installing new elevators, rebuilding stairs, and upgrading station components with a duration of three years. Minimum Requirements: • Bachelor's degree in Civil/Structural Engineering, or a related field., • Minimum 10 years of civil/structural construction management experience, specifically in heavy civil, transit, or infrastructure projects., • Experience with New York agencies specification and standards including MTA, NYCT, NYCDDC, NYCDOT, NYSDOT, and NYCDEP is preferred., • Strong analytical, problem solving and communication skills are required, • A driver's license valid in New York State. Construction Oversight & Quality Assurance: • Monitor daily contractor operations to ensure compliance with plans, specifications, and codes., • Inspect construction, witness field testing/commissioning, and verify proper material usage., • Review and approve contractor submittals, RFIs (Requests for Information), and shop drawings., • Manage change orders, including negotiations, cost analysis, and validity checks., • Manage the project schedule (baseline and updates), identifying risks and mitigating delays., • Chair progress meetings, maintain site logs, and prepare detailed daily/weekly/monthly reports., • Ensure contractor compliance with Site-Specific Safety and Health Plans., • Coordinate, track, and approve access requests for track outages/GOs (General Orders) and protection., • Ability to build and strengthen long-lasting client relationships by providing reliable service and project solutions., • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with all management levels., • Must have excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills., • Must have strong organizational and time management skills., • Must be able to adapt and prioritize, meeting deadlines, in a fast-paced environment., • Operate with a sense of urgency, quickly responding to clients., • Demonstrated leadership, responsiveness, and accountability., • Detail oriented with strong analytical skills.
