FOX Rehabilitation is hiring a Fitness Specialist to lead group exercise and personal training for older adults at a Senior Living Community in the Staten Island, NY area. This role is ideal for a personal trainer, exercise science graduate, or certified fitness professional passionate about healthy aging, fall prevention, and functional fitness for seniors. This is a part-time position (approximately 6 hours per week) with a clear path to grow your caseload and hours. You will serve as the primary wellness professional embedded within a Senior Living Community, delivering evidence-based fitness programming to older adults through group classes, one-on-one personal training, and partner training sessions. Qualifications Experience: • No prior experience required. Previous experience in a yard, warehouse, manufacturing, or construction environment is a plus, but not mandatory. Education: • High school diploma or equivalent preferred., • Willingness to Learn:, • Must be open to training and hands-on guidance. Physical Requirements: • Physical fitness and stamina to perform manual labor tasks, primarily in an outdoor environment., • Ability to lift 25 pounds consistently throughout an 8-hour shift., • Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and carry materials throughout the workday.
