Job Description Metro Dermatology is looking for enthusiastic, dedicated, bi/multi-lingual, career-minded, and experienced medical assistants to join our dynamic and fast-paced team at our Concourse Village location, 220 East 161st Street, Bronx. Metro Dermatology of NY/NJ is a high-volume and rapidly growing medical and aesthetic dermatology practice, serving diverse communities in the Bronx, Flushing, Elmhurst, Glen Oaks, and Fort Lee, NJ. All full-time employees are eligible to participate in the Practice's competitive health, dental, and vision plans within thirty days of start date Responsibilities include: • Assisting providers with procedures and surgeries, phlebotomy, prescriptions, and maintaining efficient patient flow., • Assisting patients with laser and phototherapy treatments, • Communicating with patients, pharmacies, and insurance companies to assist with any questions, prescription inquiries, and prior authorizations., • MUST have an associate's degree or higher, • STRONGLY RECOMMEND that staff be vaccinated against COVID-19, including boosters and new vaccines, • MUST BE BILINGUAL in English and Spanish, fluency in other languages is a plus, • MUST be able to work at least one Saturday shift per month (8:45 am to 1 pm), non-negotiable, • MUST be able to start early (7:45 am) or stay late (5 pm), • LPN or RN license helpful Full-time applicants who can commit to at least two years of work preferred.
