Job Title: RN – Nurse Educator Location: Brooklyn, NY 11206 Start Date: April 27, 2026 Schedule: 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM, Monday – Friday Hours: 37.5 per week (7.5 hours/day) Duration: 3 month contract Pay (Local): $78–$82/hr | OT $117–$123/hr Pay (Traveler): $91.58–$93.58/hr | OT $60–$66/hr | Weekly Travel: $3,205–$3,275 Job Summary: Under general supervision, the RN – Nurse Educator provides nursing education and support across inpatient maternal-child health units, including Labor & Delivery (L&D), NICU, Mother-Baby Unit (MBU), and Pediatrics. The role ensures that clinical staff are trained, competent, and up-to-date on best practices, policies, and patient care protocols. Key Responsibilities: • Provide educational support for all inpatient maternal-child health units (L&D, NICU, MBU, Pediatrics), • Deliver clinical education, guidance, and competency assessment for staff, • Support orientation, training, and continuing education for nurses in L&D, NICU, and postpartum care, • Develop and implement training materials and educational programs, • Collaborate with unit leadership to identify educational needs and gaps, • Promote adherence to hospital policies, clinical guidelines, and patient safety protocols Requirements: • Current New York State RN License, • BLS certification from the American Heart Association, • Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery experience, • Strong clinical skills in L&D, NICU, and postpartum care, • Master’s in Education strongly preferred, • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, • Ability to educate, mentor, and support nursing staff effectively Compensation: Pride Health offers eligible employees comprehensive healthcare coverage (medical, dental, and vision plans), supplemental coverage (accident insurance, critical illness insurance, and hospital indemnity), 401(k) retirement savings, life & disability insurance, an employee assistance program, legal support, auto and home insurance, pet insurance, and employee discounts with preferred vendors.
