They go above and beyond to make sure their employees and clients are receiving the best from them. -Current Employee, Boise, New Jersey What we are looking for: • A passion to serve and help others live their best lives possible., • High school diploma or G.E.D. certificate., • Access to reliable transportation., • Minimum of six (6) months work experience in a supervised setting, preferably health care facility., • Demonstrated ability to read, write, and follow a written Plan of Care/Aide Care Plan., • Good verbal, written, and interpersonal skills., • Previous experience as an at home caregiver or in senior communities., • Proficient in speaking both English and Spanish., • Males encouraged to apply., • New Jersey Home Health Aide Certification required.What you will be doing:, • Assist with daily activities to help clients stay independent and in their own homes., • Provide assistance with personal care activities including but not limited to: bathing, shaving, skin/nail care, shampooing, oral hygiene, dressing, range of motion exercises, and assistance in ambulation exercises., • Assist with mobility, transfers and range of motion exercises., • Handle meal planning, preparation and feeding., • Properly manage household needs., • Provide companionship and respite services for the family., • Assists in the administration of medications that are ordinarily self-administered under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse., • Reports any observed or reported changes in the client's condition and/or needs to the Registered Nurse. Follows reporting guidelines in the Plan of Care/Aide Care Plan., • Documents care provided and completes the forms required for the client's records. Completes the appropriate records to document care given and pertinent observations., • Promotes personal safety and a safe environment for clients by observing infection control practices, following Agency guidelines, and reporting unsafe situations to the supervisor., • Demonstrates safe practice in the use of equipment., • Communicates effectively with family and all members of the interdisciplinary team., • Maintains confidentiality in all aspects of the job.
