Position Summary Personal Trainers are responsible for supporting all members in championing happier, and healthier lives by building and nurturing relationships. Job Duties and Responsibilities • Develops safe, professional, and comprehensive client programs that drive client goal achievement and retention, • Monitors and instructs clients during personal training sessions on the safe and effective use of cardiovascular, flexibility and strength training equipment, • Reads, watches, and engages in all required training's associated with the role, • Conducts fitness consultations for new clients including pre-participation screening, Medical History, Lifestyle questionnaire, and goal setting to assess and recommend personal training programs, • Provides fitness floor assistance to all members to ensure safety, provide education, and motivate members, • Fulfills member service requirements such as fitness assessments and equipment operations, service desk duties and fitness equipment cleaning, • Promotes and sells personal training programs and services, • Completes all administrative requirements associated with each client’s fitness plan, • Remains current on certifications and new trends in the industry, • Ensures all members feel competent, confident, and connected by providing superior customer service through complimentary and based services/programming, • Documents all aspects of client programming, • Remains current on credentials and continuing education to advance throughout the levels program Position Requirements • High School Diploma or GED, • 1 year of personal training experience, • Certified personal Trainer, • CPR and AED Certified, • Knowledge of fitness, cardiovascular training, nutrition and program design, • Ability to perform an aerobic activity for the duration of a class and be able to bend, stand, reach, climb and lift up to 50 pounds Preferred Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology, Sports Medicine or other related field PayThis position will be paid commissions between 10% and 60% depending on the product and the Team Member's productivity. The weekly minimum pay for the position will be at least applicable minimum wage for each hour worked. StretchLab East Northport believes in creating an environment that fosters: • Excellence Grow 1% every daysmall incremental improvement adds up., • Integrity We do what we say and say what we do., • Deliver one-on-one assisted stretch sessions as well as group stretch classes for up to 6 clients, • Encourage and motivate clients throughout stretch sessions, • Build StretchLab membership and retain current clientele through sales and outreach to leads, • Managing client care by delivering a best-in-class stretching experience, updating client notes consistently, and booking client's weekly recurring appointments, • Ensure the safety of clients in regards to proper stretch techniques and enforce StretchLab policies and safety rules, • Handle member concerns when applicable, • Assist Sales Associates and General Manager with studio tour and sales as needed, • Maintain strong social media presence to client membership and retention, • Clean and maintain all equipment in order to ensure it is available for client use at any given time, • Attend staff meetings and required educational presentationsRequirements:, • Bachelor or Fine Arts dance degree or equivalent or fitness certification required, • Must be available to work 20+ hours a week, • Love of boutique fitness environment is a must passion for stretching, mobility, and flexibility, • Fantastic communication skills and exudes empathy with the ability to create a positive environment that welcomes all people
