Job Description The In-House Paralegal provides essential, high-level legal and administrative support to the General Counsel and the Legal Department team, ensuring the hospital operates in full compliance with all applicable laws and regulations. Administrative & General Support * Board/Governance Support: Assist with corporate governance matters, including preparing and organizing materials for Board of Directors and committee meetings, and maintaining corporate minute books. * Communication: Serve as a professional liaison between the Legal Department and internal hospital departments (e.g., Risk Management, Compliance, HR, Finance) and external parties (e.g., outside counsel, government agencies). * Project Management: Proactively manage departmental projects, track deadlines, and follow up on outstanding legal matters as directed by the General Counsel. QualificationsRequired Experience and Education * Minimum of three (3) years of experience as a Paralegal in a corporate legal department or law firm setting. * Paralegal certificate from an ABA-approved program or an Associate/Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
