Part Time: Monday - Thursday 3:30pm - 6:30pm Position Summary: The Child Care Worker provides stability to the children and families of the Therapeutic After School Program (TASP) by providing a flexible response to the clinical and childcare needs of the program. The Child Care Worker will function as an integral part of the TASP team. The role involves working with a group of up to 10 children. All of the children are at risk of placement outside the home, and our mission is to support them in a preventive and stabilizing capacity. Additionally, many of our kids have a traumatic background and may not respond to traditional methods of childcare work. Because of this, staff should expect to encounter challenging behaviors and be prepared to respond with patience and professionalism.
