FYZICAL Therapy & Balance Center in Cliffside Park, NJ is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Client Care Specialist to join our team of professionals. This position involves various important clerical roles at our reception desk including phone services, client registration, scheduling, and payment collection. Candidates must have exceptional interpersonal skills, a solution-oriented mentality, and a desire for ongoing growth. We are looking for an individual who reacts well under pressure, can multi-task, is detail-oriented, and treats others with respect and consideration. Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel are necessary for success. Prior experience with Electronic Medical Records systems is a plus, and bilingual applicants in English and Spanish are preferred. What We Offer: • PTO Including Vacation and Holidays, • 401K, • Voluntary Benefits (Dental/Vision/Life), • Opportunities for Professional Development and Leadership, • Valuable On-The-Job Training Primary Responsibilities Include: • Schedule and enter appointment dates and times into computerized scheduler, • Record when appointments have been filled or canceled, • Upon patient cancelation, contact scheduled therapist and advise of reason for cancelation, indicate if patient has rescheduled, • Receive payments and register patients, • Phone, text, or email appointment reminders, • Greet and direct patients and visitors, • Answer phones and assist or direct caller to appropriate personnel, • Assist with other medical office needs Successful Candidates Must Have: • High school diploma or general education degree (GED), or one to three months related experience or training (or equivalent combination of education and experience), • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos, • Ability to perform basic math and calculations (such as discounts), • Bilingual in English & Spanish is a plus, • Exceptional common sense understanding to carry out instructions provided in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving concrete variables in standardized situations, • Basic knowledge of program management systems, spreadsheets, and internet software preferred, • Experience in Microsoft Office programs required, • Ability to successfully relate, work effectively, and get along well with patients and colleagues, • Friendly and outgoing personality with pleasant disposition, • Genuine enthusiasm, care, and compassion for clients and coworkers, • Ability to be on your feet and active for extended periods, • Ability to lift and carry up to 25 lbs.Company DescriptionOur people are our greatest asset – we hire therapists who are professional and enthusiastically embrace advances in research, technology, science, and health care.
