Job Description Mission The Warren Center advocates, serves and empowers the children and families impacted by developmental delays and disabilities. Summary Reporting directly to the Assistant Site Director, the ECI Team Lead will effectively provide professional mentoring and supervision of the ECI staff, support of families, and other team initiatives. Essential Duties and Responsibilities To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform the following satisfactorily. Other duties may be assigned. Core Responsibilities: • In consultation with the Assistant Site Director, manage staff performance by providing regular feedback, conducting performance reviews, team meetings and one-on-one meetings, • Facilitate team functioning and assist with identifying areas for improvement, • Assist with quality assurance monitoring to ensure compliance with program standards and requirements, • Model best practice behavior, intervention, and documentation, • Provide direction, input, and feedback to ECI team members, • Ensure that training for all team members is consistent and implemented with organizational standards, • Communicate with team members and support their professional growth through team meetings, observation and individual consultation, • Assist with calling new families to introduce them to the program and the various services we provide, • Assist with reviewing documentation and facilitating the timeliness of documentation, • Assist with facilitating accuracy of reporting and consideration for appropriateness of services, • Participate in management team to address challenges, identify training needs, and implement solutions, • Professional conduct and ethical practice is demonstrated at all times, including HIPAA compliance, • Participate in continuing education and impart knowledge gained to other staff, • Serve as a resource for the agency and community as opportunities arise Education • Required: Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university in occupational therapy, physical therapy, speech-language pathology, child development, early childhood education, social work, special education, or a related degree., • Required: Professional license or certification in applicable field, • Required: Two-year minimum employment in direct and indirect services for children with developmental disabilities and their families, • Preferred: Three years’ experience in Early Childhood Intervention To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each qualification satisfactorily.
