Our challenge We are seeking highly skilled Sigma Developer to join our team. Additional Information* The base salary for this position will vary based on geography and other factors. In accordance with law, the base salary for this role if filled within Jersey City, NJ is $155k - $175k/year & benefits (see below). The Role Responsibilities: • Design, develop, and maintain data visualization and analytics solutions using Sigma in a cloud environment., • Deeply understand and optimize Sigma data models, version control, and data app features to deliver scalable solutions., • Collaborate with data teams and stakeholders to translate business requirements into effective data models and dashboards., • Apply best practices in data modeling concepts, ensuring accuracy, performance, and usability., • Write complex SQL queries and perform data analysis, primarily utilizing Snowflake and other cloud data platforms., • Independently manage tasks, troubleshoot issues, and deliver implementations with minimal supervision., • Work with cross-functional teams to improve data workflows, integrate new data sources, and streamline analytics processes., • Stay updated with Sigma platform features, enhancements, and industry best practices., • Ability to support and troubleshoot data apps, reports, and dashboards in a production environment. Requirements: You are: • 7+ years of hands-on experience with cloud BI tools., • At least 3+ years of professional experience specifically using Sigma platform., • Strong understanding of Sigma data models, version controls, and data app features., • Excellent knowledge of data modeling principles, data normalization, and data architecture in general., • Advanced SQL skills with hands-on experience working with Snowflake., • Proven ability to independently manage and complete tasks and projects., • Strong problem-solving skills and critical thinking abilities., • Effective communication skills and team collaboration., • Experience working in fast-paced, dynamic environments. Preferred Skills & Qualifications • Knowledge of Python scripting for data manipulation or automation., • Familiarity with AWS services related to data and analytics (e.g., S3, Lambda, Glue) is a plus., • Prior experience in data integration, ETL processes, and cloud data warehousing., • Experience working in enterprise or regulated environments.
