Job Description Emerald is seeking a Sales Enablement Director to strengthen the skills, readiness, and execution of our B2B sales organization across events, media, advertising, and year-round digital solutions. This role designs and delivers learning programs, operationalizes sales methodologies, drives onboarding excellence, and ensures teams can execute consistently with the tools, content, and competencies needed to meet revenue goals. Working across Sales, Marketing, Product, Content, and Revenue Operations, the Sales Enablement Director creates the structure and rhythm that helps sellers and Directors perform at their best. This position is eligible to work remotely or based out of our any of our US office locations. Core Responsibilities • Develop and deliver sales training across discovery, qualification, objection handling, storytelling, negotiation, and sales execution for AEs, BDRs, and Sales Leaders., • Own the end-to-end onboarding experience, including curriculum design, 30/60/90-day ramp plans, certification, and ongoing reinforcement., • Maintain and evolve playbooks, toolkits, templates, and content libraries that standardize best practices and support role-based competency development., • Lead cross-functional enablement initiatives, translating product launches, marketing messaging, and customer insights into actionable training and sales resources., • Operationalize sales methodology across pipeline reviews, deal inspection, call coaching, and seller workflows., • Analyze performance trends to identify skill gaps; build dashboards and scorecards that measure adoption, readiness, pipeline health, and productivity., • Collaborate with Commercial Operations to align KPIs and ensure performance insights inform ongoing enablement strategy., • Drive technology enablement, training teams on CRM, conversation intelligence tools, outreach platforms, and content systems, while developing role-based workflows and adoption programs., • 5+ years in sales enablement, sales training, or L&D supporting B2B sales organizations., • Strong facilitation skills with experience leading live and virtual workshops., • Experience designing adult learning programs (live, virtual, and self-paced)., • Data-driven mindset with the ability to translate insights into actionable programs., • Strong project management and cross-functional collaboration skills., • Familiarity with CRM systems, conversation intelligence tools, and sales tech platforms., • Experience in events, media, advertising, or multi-product sales environments., • Background in instructional design, coaching, or sales leadership., • Ability to scale programs independently and lead through influence., • PMP certification or equivalent experience managing complex projects. COMPENSATION & BENEFITS Target Compensation: $130,000-150,000 (Bonus Eligible) Please note that this range reflects a reasonable estimate of the target compensation for this position. This range may ultimately vary based on a candidate’s qualifications and may be higher where required by applicable law.
