Job DescriptionJob Title: Warehouse AssociateJob Description As a Warehouse Associate, you will play a crucial role in the efficient operation of our warehouse. You will be responsible for receiving and putting away inbound freight, picking and shipping customer orders, and ensuring the proper distribution of products. Your role will also include maintaining cleanliness and organization in the warehouse according to safety standards. Responsibilities • Receive and put away all inbound freight according to procedural standards., • Pick and ship customer orders as well as 3PL items as per procedural standards., • Handle product distribution to and from manufacturing., • Perform FIFO/FEFO rotation., • Ensure the warehouse stocking area is clean and well-maintained, following federal, state, and local safety rules., • Receive and tag items in the warehouse with barcode labels, pallet tags, allergen stickers, etc., • Ensure stocked items are organized, allergen-separated, and readily accessible., • Examine items in inventory for defects and damage, and report this to the Inventory Control Department., • Report any quality defects of ingredients to the Quality Control team.Essential Skills, • Proficiency in using RF scanning systems., • Experience in operating reach and hi-lows., • Knowledge of the FIFO system., • Ability to work off pick lists and system-driven reports., • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written., • Bilingual in Spanish is a plus., • Ability to build excellent working relationships and collaborate effectively., • Exhibit self-motivation, confidence, and the ability to operate under pressure., • Detail-oriented with standard mathematical skills., • Understanding and application of safety rules and regulations., • Ability to use warehouse equipment such as reach trucks, hand trucks, and pallet jacks., • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel., • Standard ability to apply general mathematical concepts.Additional Skills & Qualifications, • Ability to multi-task., • Sound mathematical acumen.
