Job Description The Vice President of Physical Health is responsible for overseeing the administration, coordination, and strategic direction of physical health services of the Integrated Health department of GSS. This is a key leadership position that will play a pivotal role in advancing our physical health services and ensuring their alignment with both organizational goals and clinical standards set by Medicaid Managed Care/A 29i. The Vice President is a member of the agency’s Agency Leadership Team. This role requires a deep understanding of the medical needs of pediatric and young adult participants in foster care settings, as well as a strong commitment to Quality Assurance. The VP stays current with mandates from oversight agencies such as ACS, OCFS, COA, and the American Academy of Pediatrics, and provides advisory support to other agency programs to ensure participant well-being. Job Description Title: PYA SPECIALIST Reports To: FAIR FUTURES SUPERVISOR, ENHANCED FAMILY FOSTER CARE Location: 7 West Burnside, Bronx, New York 10453 Hours: 35 Hours/Week; Exempt Job Summary: The Preparing Youth for Adulthood (PYA) Specialist will work collectively with other interdisciplinary staff including Coaches, Housing Specialist, Education Specialist, Case Planner, and Career Development & College Specialist to provide necessary services and guidance to young people to achieve permanency and transition successfully into adulthood. Job Description The Program Director is responsible for the planning, implementation, operation, and administration of all services offered by the Family Reception Center (FRC). Rebound partners with local businesses in neighboring areas to create employment opportunities for the participants. Rebound Elevate is an extension of the Rebound program with a focus on supporting young adults ages 18-26 with advancing in careers in Sports Management. The Senior Program Manager is responsible for the successful implementation of programming, providing quality supervision and support to all staff at Rebound/Rebound Elevate sites. The Senior Program Manager builds partnerships and relationships with businesses, funders and local community organizations to create employment opportunities and pathways of recruitment for participants and expand the services and resources of the program. Major Duties: • Manage overall administration and supervision of Rebound and Rebound Elevate program extension and assume overall leadership of a team of 3 or more personnel., • Develop and implement Rebound Elevate program extension, including partnership development, location, curriculum, and staffing., • Providing leadership of programming servicing a population of 100+ participants., • Create and manage program schedules, determine start and end dates for cohorts, and initiate timelines for recruitment activities, as well as for other program-related events such as graduations, trainings and guest speakers;, • Participate in hiring and onboarding. training, evaluating and terminating program staff., • Assess and identify service training needs of program staff refer to appropriate trainings and provide coaching for professional development., • Foster team building through staff meetings, workshops and activities., • Supervision of team and implementation of weekly/ bi-weekly individual supervision meetings for Internship Career Coordinators Coaches., • Develop curriculum that supports participants in strengthening their fundamental life and job readiness skills., • Conduct recruitment of participants, develop recruitment strategies to be implemented by the entire team, including hosting and attending info sessions and recruitment events internally and externally., • Enroll program participants, including the use of Salesforce database and all onboarding paperwork and activities, such as entering interns into GSS recruitment platform, ICIMS., • Complete assigned funding reports, gathering statistical, narrative, program activity and outcomes information. Job Description The Internship and Career Coordinator works with the Good Shepherd Services (GSS) team, grounded in the mission and vision of the GSS agency, and in collaboration with the Department of Education (DOE) to develop, implement, and connect our students, to an internship experience that aims to empower and prepare them for life after high school. Through implementation of a range of individual and group job readiness and career exploration and development activities and experiences, the ICC works with students to prepare for the world of work, identify career interests and connect them to opportunities that facilitate employment. Reports To: Program Director Location: Brooklyn Frontiers High School, 112 Schermerhorn St, Brooklyn NY Hours: 35 Hours/Week; Non Exempt Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8am to 4pm / Some evenings and weekends Salary: $50,000 - $55,000 Major Duties: • Outreach to potential internship providers and employers to identify and secure full, part time and summer internship and employment opportunities for students of RSHS., • Create and maintain internship opportunities based on student interests, available local opportunities and referrals., • Match and place participants into placements developed and track their progress through 1:1 sessions, mid year and end of year evaluations., • Oversee placement and monitoring of participants at internship/job sites and obtain employer feedback., • Develop curriculum and facilitate weekly seminar groups that meet once weekly for students in internship placements., • Identify, develop and utilize tools appropriate to provide accurate assessment of participants' work readiness and skill development., • Conduct administrative tasks for student interns such as onboarding them into the payroll system, track, input and manage student timesheet and hours., • Onboard and orientate new student interns regarding internship practices, policies and procedures., • Collaborate with students’ Advocate Counselor to ensure alignment in supporting students through their social- emotional and academic progress and goals to fulfill graduation requirements., • Liaison with the post-secondary team on topics related to job and career readiness and exploration skills/competency development (i.e., resume writing, interviewing skills, completing job applications)., • Attend division wide meetings with Internship Coordinators and other staff in the division, • Ensure timely completion of Salesforce documentation, other documentation of work, and statistics, and assist DOE to ensure accuracy of student records.
