    Assistant General Manager – SoHo About the role Guizio is hiring a full-time Assistant General Manager for our SoHo store. You will partner with the General Manager to run the store day to day: driving sales, leading and developing the team, and delivering an elevated client experience that reflects the brand. You will step in as the senior leader on the floor when the GM is out, and own key areas of operations, visual standards and clienteling. • Location: SoHo, New York, NY (on-site), • Schedule: Full-time, including weekends, holidays and some evenings, • Reports to: General Manager Key responsibilities Sales and client experience • Drive the store toward daily, weekly and monthly sales targets; track KPIs such as conversion, average transaction value and units per transaction, • Model and coach a high-touch selling approach on the floor, • Build and grow a client book through clienteling, appointments, follow-ups and personal styling, • Resolve escalated client issues, returns and exchanges with care and good judgment Team leadership • Lead the team on the floor, run morning huddles and set daily goals, • Recruit, onboard and train sales associates with the GM, • Give regular feedback, support performance reviews and develop future leaders, • Build weekly schedules that match coverage to traffic and stay within payroll budget Operations • Open and close the store, including cash handling, POS reconciliation and security procedures, • Oversee receiving, stock replenishment, transfers and inventory counts; keep shrink low, • Maintain stockroom organization and accurate inventory in our systems, • Support omnichannel services such as ship-from-store, online order pickup and returns, • Uphold company policies, loss prevention practices and health and safety standards Visual and brand standards • Execute visual merchandising directives and floor sets on schedule, • Keep the store, fitting rooms and windows looking polished and on-brand at all times, • Share product feedback and client insights with the GM and home office Store leadership • Act as manager on duty and lead the store when the GM is out, • Represent the store at in-store events, launches and community partnerships Qualifications • 3+ years of retail experience, including 1–2 years in a supervisory or assistant manager role, ideally in fashion, luxury or contemporary apparel, • Proven track record of meeting or beating sales goals, • Experience hiring, training and coaching a sales team, • Strong clienteling skills and a genuine passion for fashion and service, • Working knowledge of store operations: POS systems (e.g., Shopify POS), inventory management, cash handling and scheduling, • Clear communicator who stays calm and organized in a fast-paced, high-traffic environment, • Comfortable with retail metrics and using data to guide decisions, • Open availability, including weekends, holidays and evenings, • Able to stand for long periods, climb ladders and lift up to 30 lbs What we offer • Compensation: $75,000 per year, plus a 20% bonus after one year of employment, • Health, dental and vision insurance, • Paid time off and paid sick leave, • Generous employee discount, • Commuter benefits, • Growth and development opportunities with a fast-growing New York brand Guizio is an equal opportunity employer.     POSITION OVERVIEW The counselor will provide assessment, counseling, advocacy, and referral services to child witnesses of gender-based violence and survivors of teen dating violence. They will work with the clinical team to provide holistic, trauma-informed, survivor-centered clinical services. They will utilize a trauma-informed approach to promote clients’ rights and provide services in a manner that emphasizes safety, respect, and dignity. They will provide strength-based guidance and work to resolve the impact of gender-based violence in their young lives. RESPONSIBILITIES -Complete clinical assessments and treatment plans; -Provide mental health services for children and teens (from 0-21 years old) including short term individual counseling and crisis intervention with individuals and their families; -Collaborate with staff at other Sanctuary for Families sites to provide holistic services; -Advocate for and assist families/individuals in the negotiation of service delivery system to ensure receipt of appropriate clinical and related services; -Demonstrate competence in evidence-based modalities such as CPP (Child Parent Psychotherapy) and TF-CBT (Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy); -Develop effective relationships with children and families; -Facilitate appropriate clinical groups for clients, including, but not limited to, parenting skills groups; -Participate in team and agency meetings, individual supervisory meetings, case conferences and other meetings as requested; -Complete all appropriate paperwork, including case notes and reports, in a timely manner; -Assist with children’s room coverage to support team in providing services to families seeking services; -Conduct outreach and training related to gender based and domestic violence; -Perform other duties as assigned by the Clinical Supervisor; -Provide support and supervision to MSW interns as needed. -Hybrid work requirement with both remote and in-person formats. REQUIREMENTS -LMSW, LCSW, LMHC, LCAT, LMFT or similar degree. -A minimum of one (1) year of relevant work experience with victims of domestic violence, including work with children. -Bilingual English and Spanish required. -Experience providing counseling and supportive services to domestic violence survivors and their families required. -Experience facilitating support groups and dynamic community workshops required. -Ability to work flexible hours, a mix of hybrid and remote work, and at least 2 evenings a week. -Interest in working with clients from diverse backgrounds. -Computer literate in Microsoft applications required.
