Responsibilities • Review patient intake assessments/charts, and conduct telehealth evaluations to evaluate work-function impairment and medical necessity for Short-term Disability (STD) to attend the Charlie Health program., • Complete, certify, and sign Short-term disability forms with accurate, consistent information., • Coordinate with Charlie Health clinicians and care coordinators to respond to any clarifying requests from Employer contacts/third-party adjudicators to resolve information gaps and support patients' disability leave, while protecting PHI., • Meet service-level timelines submission of Short-term disability paperwork, including timeliness of extensions., • Maintain HIPAA and state/federal compliance, and contribute to continuous process improvement., • Provide direct patient care and education for medication management, diagnostic evaluations and medical assessments, as needed., • Work diligently with support staff to ensure proper patient communication and follow up, as needed., • Ability to support the Charlie Health team on a contract, part-time basis; remote friendly, • Must be licensed as a MD (Doctor of Medicine) or DO (Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine), licensed to practice medicine in MO, IN, and KY, and be open to being cross-licensed in additional states, as needed., • Preference for licensure in additional states, including but not limited to: MI, IL, OH, PA, CO, NC, DE, or TX., • Experience evaluating clinical appropriateness for short-term disability and completion of short-term disability paperwork required., • 3+ years experience working as an MD or DO; IOP, PHP, and/or IP experience is preferred, • Commitment to delivery of high-quality, cost-effective health care, • Ability to communicate and work proficiently with medical staff, patients, clinical support and administrative staff, • Proficiency in use of electronic health records and Google Suite/MS Office #LI-REMOTE Based on the nature of this role, you will need to complete several state background checks for clearance to see clients. About the Role The Clinical Supervisor will be responsible for managing a group of assigned clinicians. This management will include facilitating training, auditing the clinicians to ensure services are delivered in accordance with recognized best practices, helping to improve communication between the clinicians and management, etc. You will assist the Clinical Director in managing and developing the clinical staff. Responsibilities • Assist the Clinical Director to develop and implement an engaging clinical schedule, including the development of curriculum, • Ensure that clinical services are delivered in accordance with recognized best practices, • Crisis management throughout all intensive outpatient program delivery/on-call responsibilities throughout nights/weekends, • Maintain a caseload and facilitate weekly group treatment (15 hours minimum), • Well versed in a variety of modalities and feel confident integrating them into your treatment approach (DBT, CBT, EMDR, MI certification is a plus), • Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, staff, families, agencies, and referents, • Ensure compliance to regulations set forth by The Joint Commission and perform ongoing quality assurance, • Monitor treatment documentation to ensure all notes are included and meets agency and professional standards per DHCS and The Joint Commission standards, • Provide clinical supervision in accordance with regulatory requirements and accreditation standards, • Maintain and model professional ethics, including appropriate boundaries and confidentiality, • Assist with the development of relationships with key referral sources, participate in networkingRequirements, • Must be an independently licensed mental health counselor, • Work authorized in the United States and native or bilingual English proficiency, • Experience working with a wide range of ages, including children, teens, young adults, and adults clients, • Leadership experience in clinical setting (inpatient, outpatient, IOP, PHP) This role is not presently available in New York, Colorado, Washington or California. #LI Additional Information The total target base compensation for this role will be between $65,000 and $85,000 per year at the commencement of employment. In addition to base compensation, this role offers a target performance-based bonus. The target total cash compensation range, including potential bonus, will be between $65,000 and $94,000 per year. Please note, pay will be determined on an individualized basis and will be impacted by location, experience, expertise, internal pay equity, and other relevant business considerations.
