For over 60 years PSS, a multiservice nonprofit agency in NYC, has performed vital and important work. Through its ten centers, two apartment buildings, various social services and affiliated programs, the agency touches the lives of over 2,000 people every single day. PSS has approximately 120 employees and an annual budget of $13 million. One of PSSs signature programs is PSS Life! University (Life U), which consists of in-person and online programming designed to equip people to successfully manage the life transitions they will face as they age. As PSSs leader of all its adult education initiatives, branding and external communications, you will be responsible for overseeing three key areas: Communications: Responsible for the planning, oversight and coordination of all external and internal communications, from crafting press releases to assuring quality and effective social media to curating client testimonials.
