CAMBA Housing Ventures has developed and will operate Supportive Family Housing at Van Dyke, a 101 unit supportive/affordable housing development for individuals and families. Van Dyke will be located on the campus of Van Dyke Houses, a NYCHA-owned public housing development in the Brownsville neighborhood in Brooklyn. The Van Dyke facility will provide 30 units for New York/New York III formerly homeless families. The remaining 71 units will provide housing for low-income households, including a live-in superintendent. Fifty-two units will be set aside for NYCHA residents. CAMBA will serve 30 chronically homeless families, or families at serious risk of becoming chronically homeless, in which the head of household suffers from a serious and persistent mental illness or is diagnosed as mentally ill and chemically addicted under Population Option II. Job Description Reporting to the Associate Curator of High Line Art and working under the direction of the Director & Chief Curator, the Assistant Curator is responsible for a broad range of tasks related to the coordination and development of High Line Art’s program. Thriving in a fast-paced, creative environment, they contribute ideas and conduct other curatorial work to support High Line Art’s program, and collaborate across teams within Friends of the High Line to ensure that needs around installations and programs are communicated and fulfilled. We reach almost 80,000 individuals and families, including almost 13,000 youth. CAMBA serves a diverse cross section of New Yorkers from new mothers in Brownsville to job seekers in the Rockaways. More than half of our clients are immigrants and refugees from around the globe. CAMBA GARDENS Phase II is a 293 unit supportive/affordable housing development located in the East Flatbush section of Brooklyn. CAMBA Housing Ventures (CHV), the housing development subsidiary of CAMBA, developed these units. 182 of these units are set aside for formerly homeless individuals and families. 108 units are for Population A individuals, chronically homeless single adults who suffer from Serious and Persistent Mental Illness or who have a co-occurring Mental Illness and Chemical Addiction (MICA). 15 units are for Population H individuals, chronically homeless single adults who have a substance abuse disorder that is the barrier to independent living and who also have a disabling clinical condition. 24 units are for Population II chronically homeless families, in which the head of household suffers from a substance abuse disorder, a disabling medical condition or HIV/AIDS. CAMBA provides on-site case management and supportive services in addition to 24/7 security. Job Description The Academy of Rome is seeking a COO to join their team. This new hire serves as the principal executive responsible for day-to-day financial management and operations of the institution, ensuring efficient, compliant, and mission-aligned execution of all support functions. The COO is a trusted strategic leader reporting directly to the President & CEO and partners with the Executive Leadership Team. The COO manages strategic execution across financial, operational, and administrative domains and oversees eight direct reports spanning seven departments. This position requires bilingual and cross-cultural fluency, exceptional management skills, and expertise in financial operations and administration. Our client is a residential institute for advanced work in the arts and humanities. Beyond its core academic mission, the Academy also operates as a hotel accommodating approximately 100 people each night, a restaurant serving about 80 people twice daily during the week, a historic property on 11 acres subject to oversight by two landmarks commissions, and one of Rome’s premier venues for events and rentals. The COO will ensure that this multifaceted institution functions as an efficient and strategically managed organization. Success in the role will be defined by improved organizational performance, operational strength and effectiveness, and effective strategic execution.
