Overview The Customer Operations Manager owns the end-to-end execution of customer orders from purchase order receipt through final delivery. This role serves as the operational lead for assigned customer accounts and partners cross-functionally with sales, planning, purchasing, warehouses, freight forwarders, customs brokers, and vendors to ensure accurate order fulfillment, compliant import execution, and on-time delivery. This position is operationally focused and best suited for candidates with experience in logistics, supply chain, and ERP-driven order management within an import or distribution environment. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable making execution decisions in a fast-paced, deadline-driven setting. Overview Determine and define variables that can enhance or detract from business operations. Present findings to management about issues that affect growth, development, and profits. Will develop and implement special projects (i.e., market stance, staffing model development, productivity models, etc.). Responsibilities • Develop and maintain a strong strategic planning process that effectively enables the department to achieve short term and long term objectives through the creation of production plans and capacity models., • Partner with business and functional leaders to identify and communicate key strategies, initiatives, opportunities, metrics and goals that effectively drive and improve business performance as well as implement initiatives to address any issues., • Identify and monitor key factors that could influence business performance while evaluating and recommending new business opportunities. Highly motivated self-starter with an ability to effectively manage a range of projects in an environment with changing priorities. Exhibit flexibility working in a fast-paced environment requiring quick response. Must have demonstrated effective analytical, communication, interpersonal and presentation skills.
