OUR EXPECTATIONS OF YOU • Daily: set up and prepares the autoclaves for use, ensuring that the core sterilizer and tabletop units are functioning properly and achieving proper run specifications, • Inspect O.R. suite daily to ensure that it meets ASC standards for cleanliness, • Initial morning scrub shall be for 3 to 5 minutes; routine scrub is required between cases, • Gowning and gloving shall be in accordance with acceptable sterile technique, • Set up phaco and retina equipment and instruments while patient is being positioned and prepped, • Maintains the instrument table, mayo stands, and instruments in proper order and condition during the case, • Assist with stocking of supplies, cleaning of equipment, and room “turn over” in a timely fashion and notify appropriate parties of anything that needs to be addressed, • Check IOL with Circulating Registered Nurse for proper style, model, and power, • Assist the Circulating R.N. in “closing” the O.R.
