Job Description The Diagnostic Imaging and Radiology Service is critical to the lifesaving work we do at the Schwarzman Animal Medical Center, providing timely diagnosis, prognosis, and treatment planning of diseases in companion animals. As a Diagnostic Imaging technician, you'll operate our computed tomography (CT) and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) machines to obtain quality images for our radiologists and other board-certified specialists across the hospital. Diagnostic Imaging technicians work together as a team to provide the highest quality care to our patients. While one technician is scanning and capturing images, another technician functions as a primary anesthetist and monitors the patient. Our technicians are excellent communicators and collaborators who work with multiple departments at AMC and coordinate multiple imaging procedures each day. We also occasionally get special visitors from local zoos and aquariums that require our advanced imaging services to better help the animals in their care. Job Description The Schwarzman Animal Medical Center (AMC) is offering a position as an Internal Medicine Senior Veterinarian. Requirements for this position are ACVIM board certification in Internal Medicine and eligibility for a New York State license. As an internist at AMC, you will have the chance to train residents and interns and be challenged daily in a unique opportunity that blends clinical practice and academics and allows for cross pollination of ideas between clinicians and residents. AMC comprises almost every specialty and subspecialty of small animal medicine and surgery, with an emphasis on collaborative medicine, offering a chance to expand your personal clinical skillset. The Production Technician I is responsible for the aseptic manufacturing of Cresilon’s products for the animal health industry. The Production Technician II will be trained in clean room operations, aseptic techniques, and must demonstrate the ability to successfully pass gowning qualifications. The position involves operating simple and complex processing equipment, routine sanitization of cleanroom facilities, and manual cleaning of equipment.
