Our technicians are equipped with industry-leading technology, training, tools, and safety standards so they can provide proactive, step-above service to every customer.JOB OVERVIEWAs a Commercial Service Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, maintaining, installing, and servicing a wide variety of commercial equipment and systems.The ideal candidate will have strong experience in one or more of the following areas:•\tCommercial HVAC•\tAir Handling Systems (ALS)•\tCommercial Refrigeration•\tCommercial Cooking Equipment•\tCommercial Kitchen EquipmentYou will work directly with customers and internal teams to identify equipment issues, determine the appropriate repair or service, communicate recommendations, and complete assigned work safely, efficiently, and professionally.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESEquipment Service & Repair•\tDiagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain commercial HVAC, refrigeration, air handling, and cooking equipment.•\tPerform scheduled preventive maintenance, equipment overhauls, inspections, and troubleshooting.•\tService a wide range of commercial kitchen equipment, including:o\tOvenso\tWalk-in coolers and freezerso\tReach-in refrigerationo\tDish machineso\tFryerso\tMixerso\tTilt skilletso\tSteam equipmento\tCooking equipmento\tHVAC systems and air handling units•\tDiagnose mechanical, electrical, refrigeration, gas, and related equipment issues.•\tRead and interpret equipment schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation.•\tPerform testing on equipment, electrical circuits, and systems to identify and resolve problems.•\tEnsure equipment is operating safely, efficiently, and in accordance with applicable standards.CUSTOMER SERVICE•\tProvide exceptional customer service in accordance with company policies and SOPs.•\tMaintain positive and professional relationships with customers.•\tCommunicate effectively with customers, managers, dispatchers, and fellow employees.•\tDevelop strong customer rapport and understand the customer's equipment, service, and repair needs.•\tClearly explain equipment issues, recommended repairs, parts, and service requirements.•\tIdentify and communicate opportunities involving aging, inefficient, or obsolete equipment that may require replacement.•\tRespond to customer requests and concerns in a timely and professional manner.WORK MANAGEMENT & DOCUMENTATION•\tComplete assigned service calls and work orders accurately and within established timeframes.•\tMaintain accurate service records and documentation.•\tManage parts and materials needed to complete assigned jobs.•\tMaintain vehicle, tools, equipment, and inventory in an organized and professional manner.•\tRequisition and order parts and materials through the company's online ordering system.•\tUse tablets, computers, and other technology to complete work orders and communicate job information.•\tFollow company procedures and policies at all times.SAFETY & PROFESSIONAL STANDARDS•\tComplete all work safely and efficiently in accordance with company safety standards.•\tFollow all safety procedures and guidelines when using tools, equipment, ladders, and machinery.•\tProperly use required personal protective equipment (PPE).•\tMaintain a professional, courteous, and respectful attitude toward customers and coworkers.•\tDemonstrate honesty, integrity, accountability, and reliability.•\tParticipate in an on-call rotation and respond to after-hours emergency service calls when scheduled.REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS•\tMinimum of 5 years of experience in commercial HVAC, refrigeration, commercial kitchen equipment, or a related service field.•\tStrong knowledge of commercial HVAC, refrigeration, commercial kitchen equipment, or a related service field.•\tProven ability to troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical systems.•\tAbility to read and interpret equipment schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documents.•\tEPA Universal CFC/608 Certification required for applicable HVAC/refrigeration work.•\tCFESA certification is a plus, particularly in gas, electrical, steam, or refrigeration.•\tStrong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.•\tExcellent verbal and written communication skills.•\tAbility to communicate effectively in English.•\tComputer, tablet, and mobile technology experience.•\tHigh school diploma or GED required;
