Job DescriptionLHH Recruitment Solutions has partnered up with an excellent financial organization to assist with their need for a BSA Analyst. This is a Temporary coverage (5-6 months). This role would be supporting the BSA/AML team. You will be assisting with transaction monitoring, investigations, regulatory reporting, and high-risk account oversight, including Cannabis Banking relationships. This is a hybrid position. (3 days in office, 2 days remote) Must live commutable to the Ronkonkoma, NY area. Key Responsibilities • Review and analyze activity flagged by the credit union's transaction monitoring systems to determine whether further investigation or action is required due to potential money laundering concerns., • Determine when an AML investigation is warranted and assess whether a Suspicious Activity Report (SAR) should be filed; communicate findings and recommended actions to appropriate team members., • Prepare and file Suspicious Activity Reports (SARs) in accordance with departmental procedures and templates, including monitoring for continued suspicious activity and filing Continuing Activity Reports when required., • Monitor and review high-risk accounts, including Cannabis Banking relationships, and support ongoing CDD/EDD and transaction monitoring efforts., • Review and maintain Customer Due Diligence (CDD) and Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD) documentation to ensure accurate risk ratings and timely reviews for high-risk members and entities., • Serve as a BSA/AML subject matter expert, collaborating with internal departments on AML detection, risk exposure, and suspicious activity matters., • Evaluate and assess Cannabis account monitoring reports generated through Green Check., • Review new account applications for Green Check Cannabis accounts., • Compile and present the Cannabis Quarterly Report.Experience Requirements, • Minimum of 2 years of BSA/AML experience, • Experience with Transaction Monitoring (preferred), • Working knowledge of:, • OFAC screening, • CTR filingSystems Experience (Preferred), • Verafin, • DNA, • Wire Exchange, • Green Check$35 dollars per hour.
