These solutions are tailored to meet the various stages of design, development, and ship construction to ensure proven tactical and operational advantage. \n \nDescription\n\n Key Responsibilities: \n\n • Responsible for the maintenance and continuous improvement of the Quality Management System\n, • Manage the internal audit process to ensure compliance to the Quality Management System\n, • Create, collect, analyze and maintain company performance metrics including on-time-delivery, non-conformances, and supplier defects. Report results to broader company population\n, • Ensure inspection and other equipment meets Quality Control standards. Make suggestions and improvements to procedures, standards, processes and equipment to facilitate work and maintain product quality\n, • Responsible for the compilation and maintenance of inspection reports and records\n, • Perform root-cause analysis; consult with engineering and advise other departments as to corrective measures\n, • Developing and implementing corrective and preventive action plans to address quality issues and prevent recurrence\n, • Interface with customer and government quality representatives regarding audits, corrective actions, acceptance testing, and other quality matters\n, • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that quality standards are met throughout the product lifecycle\n, • Support quality inspection to ensure the efficient processing of parts to maintain manufacturing product lines\n, • Lead efforts to develop, maintain and deploy quality plans and activities that translate customer requirements into planned activities \n, • Perform analyses of quality program requirements and prepare responsive quality plans, procedures, schedules ensure optimum quality support and compliance\n, • Providing training and guidance to team members on quality control procedures and best practices\n, • Maintain documentation and records related to quality control activities\n\n \n Required Skills: \n\n • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or electrical engineering. Equivalent work experience will be considered\n, • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in Quality Engineering or product management\n, • Root cause analysis skills\n, • Ability to read and interpret complicated technical drawings\n, • Excellent communication skills\n, • Self-starter with minimal oversight and supervision\n, • This position requires either a US Person or a non-US Person who is eligible to obtain any required Export Authorization\n\n \n Desired Skills: \n Demonstrated capability in Inspection, Quality Control & Assurance methods, techniques, and equipment \n\n • Experience in applying current manufacturing trends and technologies is preferred\n, • Familiarity with AS9100/ISO 9100 requirements\n, • Knowledge and familiarity with statistical quality control techniques\n, • Knowledge of use of wide variety of measuring instruments\n, • Ability to read small text and handwriting\n, • Manual dexterity required and able to perform repetitive tasks\n, • Frequently required to stand\n, • Ability to visually examine parts and documents\n, • Ability to lift 50 pounds maximum\n\n \n Expected Compensation: The expected compensation for this role is $80,000-90,000 annually. \n \n Please note, this is the expected compensation however, ESCO Maritime Solutions considers many factors in determining compensation prior to office, such as: responsibilities and scope of role, candidate's work experience and education related to position, applicable certifications or trainings, business and market conditions. \n \n Former company - Ultra Maritime (umaritime.com).
