Job Description The Boys & Girls Club of Newburgh seeks a full-time Directors Primary Function: Direct and manage overall daily operations of the Boys & Girls Club under the control of the organization with the primary concern for a comprehensive, outcome-driven program and service delivery, supervision and training of staff (direct and indirect reports), personnel issues, management of a facility, develop and manage a budget, actively engage and support a Club Advisory Council, community relations, volunteers, and membership administration. Responsibilities: Establish Club programs, activities, and services that prepare youth for success and that create an environment that facilitates the achievement of Youth Development Outcomes. Plan, develop, implement and evaluate overall Club programs, services and activities to ensure they meet stated objectives and member needs and interests. Maintain close, daily contact with Club professional staff to interpret and explain the organizational mission, program objectives, and standards, discuss issues, and provide/receive information. Compile regular reports reflecting all activities, attendance, and participation. Manage Club financial resources assisting in the development of annual budgets. Recruit, manage and provide career development opportunities for unit staff and volunteers. Develop partnerships with parents, community leaders, and organizations. Develop and maintain public relations to increase the visibility of programs, services, and activities within the Club and the community. Qualifications: Four-year degree from an accredited college or university, or equivalent experience. A minimum of five years’ work experience in a similar organization planning, and supervising activities of young people, or equivalent experience. Demonstrated ability in personnel supervision, facilities management, and the recruitment and retention of key personnel. Strong oral and written communication skills. Ability to recruit, train, supervise, and motivate staff. Working knowledge of budget preparation, control, and management. Job Description Job Title: Instructor/Assistant Professor/Associate Professor of Nursing Reports To: Dean, School of Nursing Status: Full-Time, Exempt The Mount Saint Mary College School of Nursing seeks full-time, tenure-track and/or non-tenure track nursing faculty members to join our CCNE-accredited program dedicated to educating the next generation of nurses. Our faculty work closely with undergraduate and graduate students through teaching in the classroom, skills laboratories, simulation labs, and/or clinical settings. Additionally, faculty will have the opportunity to advise nursing students, participate in curriculum and program development, and perform other academic duties in accordance with the mission and purpose of Mount Saint Mary College and the School of Nursing. Tenure-track positions also include expectations of scholarship for promotion. Exceptional candidates may be granted service time towards promotion and/or tenure. The successful candidate will: • Demonstrate a commitment to effective teaching and mentoring students, to guide student learning in the pre-licensure and graduate nursing programs;, • Assist with course coordination and supervision of clinical adjunct faculty in accordance with course requirements;, • Work collaboratively with faculty in program planning, curriculum construction or revision, and fulfillment of accreditation requirements for the School of Nursing;, • Provide academic advising to students to assist in degree completion and job placement;, • Participate in the School of Nursing and College academic committees;, • Actively engage in College-wide activities such as Open Houses, Admitted Students Day, Faculty Development Days, and Commencement;, • Be responsive to student needs through availability for office hours and on campus days;, • Master's degree in Nursing from an accredited college or university;, • At least five (5) years of clinical experience;, • Doctorate degree in Nursing or related field (Candidates enrolled in a doctoral program are invited to apply.), • Experience in Nursing higher education in the classroom, laboratory, and/or clinic., • Experience in Medical-Surgical, Critical Care, Mother Baby, Pediatrics, or Mental Health areas.
