Metro is looking for a motivated and passionate PER DIEM Occupational Therapist to provide in-home care. All levels of experience are encouraged to apply and will train the right new graduate. • Job Type: Per Diem, • Pay: $65-$85 per visit, • Location: In and around New Rochelle, • 1099 and W-2 options to fit your preferred work style, • Competitive salary, • Longstanding Success, • Opportunities for professional growth and development, • A professional supportive and fun work environment fostered by a team of well-respected clinicians who take pride in the challenges of meaningful work, • Focus on Patient Care - Quick EMR (No Oasis required), • Great work/life balance, • Flexibility and Autonomy - see patients any 7 days of the week, • Accept and treat patients within your designated geographic area, • Provide 1:1 treatment, • Evaluate patients and develop individualized treatment plans based on physician orders and patient needs, • Deliver care that aligns with professional standards agency policies and the prescribed plan of care, • Educate family members home health aides and other caregivers on proper therapy techniques, • Plan and carry out occupational therapy programs to maintain improve or restore physical function relieve pain and prevent occupational dysfunction in patients., • Perform and document an initial exam evaluating the data to identify problems and determine a diagnosis prior to intervention., • Provide timely and accurate documentation for each visit, • Evaluate effects of treatment at various stages and adjust treatments to achieve maximum benefit, • Must be willing to treat geriatric patients. Qualifications : • Occupational Therapist Program Graduate, • Licensed Occupational Therapist in the state of New York or eligible., • Mandatory Certifications: First Aid AED & CPR Certifications., • Home health experience is preferred but not required - We will provide you with a mentor to help with documentation and compliance., • Ability to travel to patients homes within the assigned geographic territory, • Strong communication skills between patients support staff and management including timely responses via text email phone etc. Remote Work : No Employment Type : Part-time Key Skills Body Mechanics,Early Intervention,Acute Care,Communication skills,HIPAA,Autism Experience,Computer Literacy,Pediatrics Experience,Home Care,Heavy Lifting,Patient Service Experience,Medicare Experience: years Vacancy: 1
