Job Description Job Title: Quality Inspector Job Description We are seeking a meticulous Quality Inspector to perform in-process, first-piece inspections and ensure all manufactured parts meet customer requirements. The role involves running programs, cross-referencing engineering drawings, and adhering to all company safety regulations. The Quality Inspector will complete assigned work within specified timeframes, maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, and cooperate with colleagues to maintain a safe working environment. Responsibilities • Perform in-process, first-piece inspections., • Run programs and cross-reference engineering drawings., • Ensure all manufactured parts adhere to customer requirements and procedures., • Complete assigned work within given timeframe and according to specifications., • Follow instructions as provided by the supervisor., • Adhere to all company safety regulations, including those regarding machine operation., • Cooperate with other employees in the department to maintain a safe working environment., • Maintain cleanliness and organization of assigned work area., • 3 years of inspection experience., • Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints., • Experience with micrometers and calipers., • Mechanical inspection skills., • Experience in inspecting forming sheet metal and welding., • Aerospace experience is a plus., • Quality assurance and visual inspection skills. Work Environment The role is based in a production setting where you will inspect the paint of cabinets for server IT rooms. Available shifts are 1st shift from 7am-3:30pm and 2nd shift from 3:30pm-Midnight. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Farmingdale, NY. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $24.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
