Job Description All employees are lineworkers. As a lineworker you will be assigned to one of four areas based on the needs of the business: Production Duty, Front End Duty, Sales Floor Duty or Loading Dock Duty. The position we are hiring for is assigned to Production Duty. The Production Lineworker position will help process donated merchandise in the production room to be sold on the retail sales floor. This position will be trained to perform various jobs assigned to the production department. Some of the duties will include cleaning the sales floor, sorting merchandise, hanging merchandise, and stocking merchandise to replenish the sales floor. This position will also perform other miscellaneous duties as needed by their manager during their scheduled shift. Our business model requires employees to be cross-trained in different areas of work so the daily labor demands can be met. The multi-tasking aspect of the lineworker position is necessary and will require employees to shift their job duties on any given day to meet the daily business demands. All employees MUST be flexible and ready to work wherever needed by the manager and/or supervisor. All employees are expected to perform at or above the company’s minimum performance standards for each job they are trained to do. This is a full-time position (40+ hours weekly) in a retail thrift store plus benefits after 90 days. The typical production schedule is Monday through Friday 7:30AM - 4:00PM with Saturday and Sunday off. Job DescriptionSUMMARY Residential program for adult residents which are state inmates classified to a work release/substance abuse/special needs program. The Driver will provide transportation services for residents of the Millicent Fenwick House re-entry program, ensuring safe and timely travel to various destinations such as appointments, job interviews, and community services. This role involves maintaining the program vehicle, adhering to schedules, and supporting residents' successful reintegration into the community in addition to ensuring the security of the residence and residents while following establish protocols and procedures approved by NJAC and the NJ Department of Corrections. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include but are not limited to the following: • Responsible for providing transportation and escorting clients to and from medical appointments, interviews, employment sites and other approved destinations as necessary, • Implement appropriate security procedures in the facility and vehicles. Ladders required to perform this task will range from 16 to 40 feet in length and range in weight from 20 to 125 pounds. You will be required to lift and transport these ladders. · Make sure preventative maintenance is done on all weight room equipment. · Use of a ladder is required to change light bulbs in breezeways and on buildings. These ladders could range in weight from 10 to 125 pounds. · Changing panels of glass ranging in weight from 10 to 40 pounds is require and may require the use of a ladder to accomplish the task. · Pool maintenance is a big responsibility and often requires you to lift and / or transport 100-pound drums of granular chlorine, 50-pound drums of stick chlorine, and 50-pound bags of soda ash or bicarbonate of soda. You are responsible for replacing pool pump room motors and pumps. These pumps and motors could range from 25 to 200 pounds, depending on the size required. · As part of your daily maintenance routine, you may be required to move appliances from one apartment to another apartment on opposite ends of the community. The appliance may have to be transported by means of a hand truck up one to three flights of steps. These appliances will range in weight from 75 to over 200 pounds. · Our commercial laundry rooms are equipped with single washing machines and / or stacked (double) clothes dryers, which you will be required to move in order to repair and perform preventative maintenance. These machines range in weight from 120 to 150 pounds. · On occasion, you will be required to move furniture from one model unit to another or move furniture items in a resident's apartment to accomplish certain repairs or to correct flood damage. This would require that you move items weighing several pounds to several hundred pounds. · During the course of your job, you may be involved in repairs to the building structure. You may be required to move or transport a number of different building type materials weighing several pounds to several hundred pounds · At certain times you will be required to perform maintenance on special equipment (i.e., exercise equipment, gas grills, golf carts, car washes, amenity areas, and security gates). All of these functions require different physical exertion and their weight depends on the particular equipment (usually in excess of 100 pounds) · You will be required to perform certain resident service functions or make upgrades to the apartment. Job Description The Mental Health Association is seeking Per Diem Mobile Crisis Outreach Responders for our new program, 988 Mobile Crisis Outreach Team, operating out of Essex County The Per Diem 988 Mobile Crisis Outreach Response program will respond to adults (18 and above) in nonlife-threatening situations who have contacted the 988 Suicide and Crisis Lifeline. The Mobile Crisis Outreach Response program (MCORT) responds 24 hours a day, seven days a week, every day of the year, to nonlife-threatening mental health, substance use or suicidal crises in the community. MCORT will work in coordination with the 988 Suicide and Crisis Lifeline crisis centers. (The 988 Suicide and Crisis Lifeline was formerly the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline.) MCORT is to be comprised of a two-person team in the field under remote supervision by a third professional from a centralized location. Shifts are on an as-needed basis for this position. The 988 Mobile Crisis Outreach Response program will respond to adults (18 and above) in nonlife-threatening situations who have contacted the 988 Suicide and Crisis Lifeline. The Mobile Crisis Outreach Response program (MCORT) responds 24 hours a day, seven days a week, every day of the year, to nonlife-threatening mental health, substance use or suicidal crises in the community. MCORT will work in coordination with the 988 Suicide and Crisis Lifeline crisis centers. (The 988 Suicide and Crisis Lifeline was formerly the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline.) MCORT is to be comprised of a two-person team in the field under remote supervision by a third professional from a centralized location. Shifts are on an as-needed basis for this position. Key Responsibilities Staffing, Hiring & Training • Recruit, interview, and onboard new crossing guards., • Conduct initial and ongoing training in accordance with state laws, municipal requirements, and company standards., • Prepare and manage weekly schedules for crossing guards., • Actively monitor attendance and ensure all posts are covered—personally covering posts when necessary., • Conduct routine site visits to evaluate performance and safety conditions., • Serve as the primary point of contact for the school district, Borough/Township officials, and Police Department., • Attend meetings as required and communicate operational updates, staffing changes, and safety concerns., • Provide coaching, corrective feedback, and positive reinforcement to staff., • Document and administer disciplinary actions in accordance with company policies., • Proven ability to manage and motivate staff in a field-based or service-oriented environment., • Strong communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse groups including parents, school staff, law enforcement, and the public., • Knowledge of or ability to learn traffic control practices, including recognizing safe gaps in traffic and interpreting traffic control devices., • Physically able to stand for extended periods, including during inclement weather (rain, snow, heat, cold)., • Reliable transportation and ability to travel to multiple post locations as needed.
