Job Description About Us: ModernMD Urgent Care is a fast-growing, mission-driven healthcare provider with 14 locations across New York City. We deliver exceptional care to our communities and are expanding our services to include occupational health and employee screening. This is a brand-new service line for ModernMD, and we’re looking for a driven, entrepreneurial Sales Representative to help us build it from the ground up. Position Summary: The Sales Representative will be responsible for identifying, developing, and closing new business opportunities for our occupational health and employee screening services. Because this is a newly launched offering, the individual will play a critical role in shaping the direction of the business line, acting as a direct conduit between employer needs and ModernMD leadership. The ideal candidate will be comfortable navigating a start-up-like environment within a larger organization—remaining adaptable and patient as we build, refine, and scale the service. Key Responsibilities: • Prospect and qualify leads for occupational health and employee screening services, • Build and maintain relationships with local employers, TPAs, staffing agencies, and other potential partners, • Serve as the voice of the customer—bringing employer feedback, challenges, and ideas to leadership to help shape our offerings, • Develop customized proposals and present service offerings to prospective clients, • Manage the full sales cycle from outreach through close, • Collaborate closely with clinical and operational teams to ensure a smooth onboarding and service experience, • Help define internal processes and strategies as the service line evolves, • Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets, • Maintain accurate CRM records and provide timely pipeline and activity reports, • Stay patient, resilient, and solutions-oriented as we encounter and resolve early-stage operational hurdles Qualifications: • 2+ years of B2B sales experience, preferably in healthcare, occupational health, or employee benefits, • Demonstrated success in new business development and relationship management, • Familiarity with NYC’s business environment and local employer landscape, specifically in the Brooklyn and Queens communities that we serve, • Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, • Comfortable operating in a fast-changing, entrepreneurial setting, • Highly self-motivated, organized, and results-driven, • Bachelor's degree preferred Why Join Us?: • Be part of launching and shaping a new business line with high growth potential, • Competitive base salary with uncapped commission, • Collaborative, mission-focused team with a start-up mindset Powered by JazzHR R3FX51L9mq
