Job Description Privately owned animal hospital in Nassau County seeks a Veterinary Receptionist. Responsibilities include answering phones, booking appointments, creating and explaining estimates and invoices and maintaining medical records. Candidates must be comfortable multi- tasking, personable, compassionate, proactive, computer literate and enjoy a fast paced working environment. This position requires excellent communication skills, comfort with a multi- line phone system, ability to educate clients in accordance with hospital policies, attention to detail, and the desire to make our clients and their pets feel welcome. We pride ourselves on our fun and educational atmosphere. This position that is open now has a schedule of Friday, Saturday and a short shift on Sunday morning. The pay is commensurate with experience.
