Job Title: Estimator – Glass & Glazing Location: Queens, NY | Full-Time | In-Office Preferred Company: E.K. Silversmith Glass We’re looking for an experienced Estimator to join our growing glass contracting team. You’ll review drawings, perform takeoffs, get vendor quotes, and prepare detailed proposals for commercial and residential glass projects. What You’ll Do: - Read architectural plans and specs - Perform accurate takeoffs for glass and hardware - Communicate with vendors for pricing - Create competitive, detailed estimates - Collaborate with project and sales teams - Use AutoCAD to review and mark up shop drawings as needed What We’re Looking For: - 3+ years of estimating experience (glass preferred) - Strong skills in takeoffs, drawings, AutoCAD, and Excel - Detail-oriented, deadline-driven, and organized - Familiar with storefronts, curtain walls, and glazing hardware
