Job Description GenReady Inc. is one of the largest Generac dealers on Long Island and we are seeking a Generator Service Technician to join our team! Responsibilities include maintenance and repair of small engines, specifically Generac Home Stand-by Generators. Responsibilities: • Perform routine preventive maintenance, • such as checking and adding oil, replacing oil and air filters, doing valve adjustments and spark plug changes., • Prepare and Complete accurate work orders for repairs/maintenance, • Estimate time and extent of repairs, • Troubleshooting and diagnostic testing, • Maintain material inventory, • Previous experience in maintenance or other related fields required, • Previous experience working on residential generators preferred but not required, • Familiarity with maintenance tools and equipment, • Ability to handle physical workload, • Deadline and detail-oriented, • Excellent communication and customer service skills, • Prior trade school experience is a plus, • Competitive compensation, • Paid Holidays
