Job Description The Company: Select-Arc is privately owned family run company with nearly three-hundred employees. We are welding consumables manufacturer based in Ohio that offers fully paid insurance and 401k match. The Position: We have an opportunity for a Warehouse Manager. The Warehouse Manager commands a small but critical group of direct reports who perform picking & loading, truck scheduling, small‐shipment handling (UPS/FedEx), and inventory tracking. The role is built around strong accountability: enforce safety, quality, and productivity standards; hold people responsible for their performance; ensure the warehouse operates efficiently in coordination with Manufacturing, Customer Service, Quality, and Company leadership. Key Responsibilities: People Management • Hold direct reports accountable for all aspects of picking, loading, scheduling, shipping, and inventory control., • Conduct regular performance reviews, set clear expectations, and issue corrective actions—including write‐ups or terminations—when standards are not met., • Enforce a culture of ownership; any lapse in productivity, safety, or accuracy is addressed immediately. Process Oversight • Enforce SOPs, safety protocols, and quality standards across all operations., • Perform periodic audits and take swift corrective action when deviations or inefficiencies occur. Resource Planning • Schedule shifts, balance workloads, and align staffing levels with production & shipping demand., • Anticipate staffing gaps (sick days, vacations) and coordinate temporary coverage to avoid downtime. Cross‐Functional Coordination • Serve as the primary liaison between warehouse operations and Manufacturing, Customer Service, Quality Assurance, and the Owner., • Translate upstream/downstream needs into actionable plans for your team and ensure they are executed on time. Skills / Qualifications: • 3-4 Years experience in warehouse management, • Experience supervising personnel, • Knowledge and experience in software for managing warehouse processes and logistics, • Experience related to managing product inventory, including inventory planning and tracking systems., • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
