Job Description Smart Connected Warehouse (SCW) Analyst Contract | Onsite | Milan, IL Visa sponsorship is not available now or in the near future. This onsite Smart Connected Warehouse (SCW) Analyst opportunity in Milan, IL offers the chance to be directly involved in warehouse technology transformation. You’ll support modern warehouse management systems while working closely with operations teams in a fast‑paced, real‑world environment. What You’ll Do As an SCW Analyst, you’ll be embedded with warehouse and IT partners to support Smart Connected Warehouse (SCW) and Parts IT Modernization (PITM) initiatives. Your work will directly impact how facilities operate day‑to‑day. You will: • Provide production support for facilities where modern warehouse solutions are already deployed, • Support the rollout of new system capabilities as they are introduced, • Create training documentation for both warehouse office staff and floor operators, • Deliver end‑user training and provide onsite support during implementations, • Prepare facilities for upcoming PITM implementations, • Train operators on the new Warehouse Management System (WMS), • Troubleshoot issues during and after system go‑lives, • Partner closely with operations, engineering, and IT stakeholders to ensure successful adoption Why This Role Is Worth Considering • Direct involvement in large‑scale warehouse modernization at a global organization, • Strong exposure to WMS implementations and operational change management, • Opportunity to build experience at the intersection of operations, technology, and training, • Ideal for candidates who prefer being onsite, solving real problems, and working with end users Work Environment & Schedule • Onsite role only (no remote or hybrid option), • Core hours: 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM, • Overtime may be requested based on project needs Required Skills & Experience • 1+ year of experience working within an Operations and/or Engineering environment, • Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams, • Comfort working in a warehouse setting, including time on the floor Preferred (Nice‑to‑Have) Experience • 2+ years of experience in a warehouse, manufacturing, or operations environment, • 2+ years supporting operations in an engineering, technical, or systems support role, • Experience training employees on processes, systems, or best practices, • Exposure to warehouse systems, technical tools, or IT applications Education • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Technology, Business, Management, or a related field, • OR equivalent hands‑on experience supporting operations or technical systems
