None Howmet Aerospace is currently looking a Packer to join our Howmet Casting located in Dover, New Jersey. The work hours for this Midnight Shift position are Sunday Night - Thursday Night 10:30PM - 7:00AM. Training on Day Shift M-F New Hire Starting Hourly Rate: $24.24; After 12 Months: $26.96 Position will receive an hourly "shift premium" while assigned to an off-shift. ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH & SAFETY RESPONSIBILITIES • Expected to assist in the implementation of EHS Values and policy statements and accompanying principals., • Comply with all department, facility, corporate and regulatory EHS regulations., • Wear all required personal protective equipment (PPE)., • Report all job related illness and injuries (Per Employee Handbook)., • Report all safety, health and environmental concerns to your supervisor in a timely manner., • Receives castings and examines the accompanying lot ticket to determine if X-ray, Zyglo, Dimensional Inspection, Magnetic Inspection and other operations have been completed as required by a routing procedure sheet., • Coordinates with the supervisor to assure accuracy and completeness of previous operations and indicates any discrepancy., • Checks in Master Heat Log to determine if heat numbers and heat batches, coincide with the approved master heat certifications, if not call Heat Treat, • Sorts castings according to heat numbers, alloy numbers and properly approved cavity numbers., • Types stencils from information supplied through marking instructions and memos from Quality, • Packages marked castings into compartmented shipping containers. This job has frequent internal contact with production planning, quality and metal departments. , BASIC QUALIFICATIONS • This position entails access to export-controlled items and employment offers are conditioned upon an applicant's ability to lawfully obtain access to such items., • Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
