Job Description Job Details Job Title: Warehouse Associate Location: 1026 W Elizabeth Ave, Linden NJ 07036 Contract: 4+ Months temp to hire Shift: 1st shift (8:30 am to 5 pm, Monday to Friday) Pay Rate: $ 17.50/Hr. Job Summary: • The Shipping/Receiving Clerk is responsible for performing any or all tasks associated with the regional client supply fulfillment center's receiving, picking, packing, and shipping operations., • These responsibilities include but are not limited to receiving, pallet and box breakdown (with cutting tools), material put away into storage or flow racks, box build, initiating orders on the line, pre-packaging and counting, material transfers, physical inventory, item picking and proper placement, packing with air pillows and tape guns, shipping and affixing labels, pallet preparation, loading trucks and filling/confirming orders., • Receive, inspect, verify, process, and route all materials into the facility and off-site facilities (remote sites) and enter the receipts in the Materials Management software system., • Notify the Warehouse Manager of any discrepancies between materials versus shipping documentation., • Prepare shipments, including documentation, for outbound shipments., • Manage the Returned Goods process according to the Returned Goods SOP., • Deliver stock to the appropriate staging area for departments., • Put warehoused items in the designated storage areas and rotate stock according to receipt date and expiration dates to ensure proper stock rotation and use prior to expiration., • Note any short-dated materials upon receipt (less than 30 days of shelf life) and report to the Warehouse Manager to determine any possible actions that may need to be taken., • Assist in cycle count and full physical inventory., • Comply with all applicable and current Materials and Services Management, Human Resources, Employee Health and Safety, Compliance, OSHA, CLIA, etc., policies and procedures., • Analyze current procedures in place and make recommendations for process improvements to the Warehouse Manager., • Assist in order entry, picking, packing, and delivery of both internal and external orders as needed., • Assist inthe record storage and retrieval process as needed., • Assist in the preparation, receipt, and distribution of internal, inbound, and external mail as needed., • Ability to operate a computer, hand cart, pallet jack, flatbed, packing tape gun, and other materials and equipment necessary to complete job tasks., • Ability to work and communicate effectively in a team environment, • Ability to operate materials handling equipment as needed (forklift, pallet jack, etc.) Electric walkie stacker and pallet jack documented certification a plus.
