Job Description We are looking for experienced management professionals for all aspects of the warehouse functions of a commissary kitchen including cut produce prepartion, shipping, receiving, loading dock and supervising the 100 person warehouse department staff to ensure the timely and accurate completion of tasks. Job Qualifications • Bilingual in English and Spanish, • 3 - 5 years’ experience in a supervisory role in a warehouse/food production setting, • Strong leadership skills and ability to supervise a diverse workforce, • Demonstrated decision-making ability and leadership skills, • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, • Excellent interpersonal communication and organizational skills, • Supervise, motivate, and train teams within a multi-department operation, • Ensures freshness of products by closely adhering to rotation and dating policy as needed, • Control ordering; avoid over/under stock, maintain accurate inventory while minimizing product loss, • Adhere to all applicable Federal, State, local and industry regulations that pertain to warehouse operations., • Instruct in the proper use of equipment to ensure safety and sanitary standards are maintained, • Facilitate coordination and communication between all department to promote consistency and organization, • Handle internal issues quickly and efficiently, • Supervise, motivate, and train teams within a multi-department operation, • Ensures freshness of products by closely adhering to rotation and dating policy as needed, • Control ordering; avoid over/under stock, maintain accurate inventory while minimizing product loss, • Adhere to all applicable Federal, State, local and industry regulations that pertain to warehouse operations., • Instruct in the proper use of equipment to ensure safety and sanitary standards are maintained, • Facilitate coordination and communication between all department to promote consistency and organizationCompany DescriptionCivilized People is known throughout the industry for our honesty, integrity and straightforward nature.
