Job DescriptionJob Title: PackerJob Description We are seeking dedicated Packers to join our team on 1st and 2nd shifts. As a Packer, you will be responsible for efficiently packing products and ensuring the cleanliness of our production equipment. You will play a crucial role in maintaining the quality of our products. Responsibilities • Pack up to 80 bags per minute into boxes., • Count the number of bags that go into each case., • Lift boxes onto conveyors., • Palatalize boxes onto skids., • Spot check seals, weight, code date, and overall appearance of finished packages., • Sort used cardboard., • Supply packing lines with cartons., • Sticker sale-priced items as needed., • Inspect finished potato chips., • Clean machines, conveyors, chip bins, walls, and floors as needed., • Recognize problems with equipment, product, or packaging and immediately report to management.Essential Skills, • High school diploma or general equivalency diploma (GED)., • Three to six months of related experience and/or training., • Effective communication with other employees., • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and documents such as rules and procedures., • Ability to perform basic arithmetic operations: add, subtract, multiply, and divide., • Strong hand-eye coordination., • Ability to perform tasks without direct supervision., • Ability to cooperate and maintain good relations with co-workers., • Must be able to read and write.Additional Skills & Qualifications, • Packaging, Production, Inventory knowledge.
