Job Title: Picker/Packer Job Summary: As a Picker/Packer at Walmart, you will play a critical role in the fulfillment process by accurately selecting and packing merchandise for shipping to customers or Walmart stores. Product Packaging: • Pack merchandise securely and appropriately for shipping, using packaging materials such as boxes, bubble wrap, and packing peanuts., • Label packages with shipping information, barcodes, and tracking numbers., • Ensure that packages are sealed properly to prevent damage during transit. 3. Quality Control: • Inspect merchandise for any defects, damages, or discrepancies before packing, and report any issues to supervisors., • Follow quality control procedures to maintain high standards of product quality and customer satisfaction., • Handle fragile or delicate items with care to prevent breakage or damage during packing and shipping. 4. Qualifications: • High school diploma or equivalent preferred., • Previous experience in warehouse operations, order picking, or packing is advantageous., • Familiarity with handheld devices and warehouse management systems is desirable., • Ability to lift and carry heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) and maneuver bulky items using appropriate equipment., • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in picking and packing merchandise., • Excellent organizational and time management skills., • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
