Position Purpose The Animal Care Specialist is responsible for the care of ISO cats and ISO dogs as well as other responsibilities on the resident Animal Care team. This includes but is not limited to administering oral or topical medications, as allowed by NY state law; syringe feeding, restraining animals, setting up equipment for all treatment rooms and maintaining records for all animals in ISO. The position also includes cleaning of isolation rooms.
