Job Description MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN Full Time Days | 8am-4:30pm | Monday-Friday Everything we do at The Wesley Community is guided by our Core Values which form the acronym "CARES". What will I do as a Maintenance Technician for The Wesley Community? • Maintain the facility, equipment in a safe and efficient manner in accordance with federal, state, and local standards, guidelines and regulations, our established policies, and procedures, and as may be directed by the Director of Maintenance., • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on the facility and equipment to include plumbing, plastering, electrical, carpentry, mechanical, some snow removal, etc., as directed, in accordance with established procedures., • Check and maintain lights, lighting fixtures, lamps, breakers, ballasts, etc., including the replacement of burnt-out light bulbs, to include exit lights, overhead lights, fluorescent lights, room call lights, etc., as well as performing cleaning duties whenever necessary. Maintenance Technician Requirements: • High School Diploma or equivalency preferred., • Previous related work in associated field preferred., • Should possess reasonable aptitude/proficiency in carpentry, plumbing, painting, wall repair, and some mechanical and electrical knowledge.
